Over recent years, rising rent prices have proved to be a problem for people up and down the country as the cost-of-living crisis continues to hit our pockets. Kieren was fine and he went to bed straight away, but I stayed up all night thinking that every car door I heard was the owner of the house coming back home. You are usually looking after the homeowner’s pets, which is great for me, as I had to leave my beautiful Bernese mountain dogs in Australia with my family, so I very much enjoy cuddling other people’s animals.
