Attendees of CinemaCon got the first-ever look at Sony’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer.” In the first look footage of the follow-up film, a picture-perfect young couple (portrayed by franchise newcomers Madelyn Cline and Joshua Orpin) is enjoying a night of self-care — including a calming bubble bath for Cline’s character. In the original “I Know What You Did Last Summer,” four teens from a small seaside town are stalked — one at a time — by a hook-wielding killer one year after covering up a car accident that was believed to be fatal. Jennifer Kaytin Robinson (“Thor: Love and Thunder,” “Do Revenge,” “Someone Great,” is directing the film from a script she co-wrote with Sam Lansky.
