OK!'s head of beauty Zoe puts Elizabeth Arden's newly-launched Retinol+HPR Ceramide Capsules to the test on her sensitive skin to see if they can smooth texture without causing irritation

Formulated with next-generation retinol ingredient HPR (hydroxy pinacolone retinoate) alongside a host of skin-caring ceramide and peptides, the brand says you should be able to see a wrinkle reduction in as little as one week when you use them nightly. I used them nightly after cleansing my skin, allowing the liquid to get to work for 30 minutes before I applied my night-time moisturiser over the top. My skin looked less lacklustre, and the fine lines around my eye area (I didn't bring the serum all the way up, just around the outer crow's feet).
