Martin Lewis has revealed how a fan managed to bag a handy windfall in the Cost of Living crisis – all by buying five bananas and a little effort online. Financial champion and Good Morning Britain presenter Martin previously revealed how to get £200 in 'free money' with a bonus scheme from HSBC without using its switching service. Martin's website clarifies that readers can claim the extra £80 by applying for the Global Money debit card, which must be used five times: "These spends can be in pounds, so more bananas (if you like), or in overseas currency."
