'I bought Dr Martens sandals and they're my top summer purchase'
Fashion writer Eve Rowlands treated herself to a new pair of Dr Martens sandals for summer 2025, ones that everyone is raving about - and she can see why
Costing £98 - £42 cheaper than their usual £140 label - the Gryphon Tumbled Nubuck Leather Platform Sandals in Muted Olive arrived in a matter of days and their first 'try on' was nerve-wracking. Despite being a fashion writer, I don't usually fork out this much money on a pair of shoes (no matter how much inspiration I take from Carrie Bradshaw) and so I needed them to be a worthy purchase. Like any other Dr Marten shoe, these sandals had the same sturdy, chunky sole - complete with mustard yellow stitching and ankle tab and were made with durable leather.
