Gerard Butler plays Hiccup’s father Stoick the Vast, after the voiced the character in the animated trilogy. Based on the book series by Cressida Cowell, the movies follow a young man named Hiccup who stumbles upon a trapped, injured dragon that he befriends, trains and eventually names Toothless.
