‘How to Train Your Dragon’ Flies to No. 1 at China Box Office
Universal’s live-action remake 'How to Train Your Dragon' took flight at the top of the China box office, opening with $11.1 million.
The action franchise installment has now accumulated $55.8 million in China, making it one of the top-performing Hollywood imports of the year so far. The Taopiaopiao-distributed Chinese romantic comedy “Love List,” directed by Tian Yu Sheng, debuted in fourth place with $1.5 million over its opening two days. Lionsgate’s assassin thriller “ Ballerina,” starring Ana de Armas, rounded out the top five with $1.4 million in its second full week of release.
