‘How to Train Your Dragon 2’ Live-Action Remake Coming to Theaters in 2027
Universal Pictures has greenlit a live-action version of "How to Train Your Dragon 2," which will soar to the big screen on June 11, 2027.
A live-action adaptation of “ How to Train Your Dragon 2 ” is currently in the works, Universal Pictures announced on Wednesday during its presentation at CinemaCon, the annual convention of movie theater owners. “We are so excited to give your theaters a big summer title in two years time,” the franchise’s veteran director Dean DeBlois said on stage at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The sequel is set five years later and follows a 20-year-old Hiccup and pals as they battle a madman who wants to conquer the world with a dragon army.
