'House of the Dragon' Season 2: HBO Drops New Trailer

The 'Game of Thrones' prequel is set to return in June 2024.

Martin’s novel, Fire & Blood, which is a history book recounting notable events in Westeros in the 200 years before the original series. Returning players include Prince Daemon ( Matt Smith) and his niece-turned-now-wife Princess Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy), Queen Alicent ( Olivia Cooke), her father, Otto Hightower (Rhys Ifans), her children, Prince Aemond (Ewan Mitchell), King Aegon II (Tom Glynn-Carney) and Helaena (Phia Saban), and her loyal servant, Criston Cole (Fabien Frankel). In equally important fashion, showrunner Ryan Condal told The Hollywood Reporter last year that viewers will "meet five new dragons" this season.
