‘House of the Dragon’ Renewed for Third Season

HBO announced that it has renewed 'House of the Dragons,' the 'Game of Thrones' prequel, for a third season.

“George, Ryan, and the rest of our incredible executive producers, cast, and crew, have reached new heights with the phenomenal second season of House of the Dragon,” said HBO exec Francesca Orsi. “ HotD remains a show that mistakes confusion for complexity, hurling waves of thinly-defined, often interchangeable characters at the audience, and hoping no one will mind because here be dragons — along with some fiery performances by [its actors],” read a review by Alan Sepinwall. Season two stars actors such as Matt Smith, Emma D’Arcy, Olivia Cooke, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, and Matthew Needham.
