‘House Of The Dragon’ Actor Ewan Mitchell On Why He Hasn’t Watched ‘Game Of Thrones’: “I Wanted To Bring Something Fresh”
Ewan Mitchell plays Aemond Targaryen in HBO's House of the Dragon, the Game of Thrones prequel.
With Season 2 of the spinoff dropping June 16, the cast has been promoting the premiere, and Mitchell revealed that he’s never seen the original series. “I haven’t seen the original Game of Thrones,” Mitchell said in an interview with ComicBook after the publication asked him who he would want his character to interact with from GoT. “Spent two days locked in a room with Ryan Condal and his writing staff (Sara Hess, Ti Mikkel, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett) talking about the third and fourth seasons of House of the Dragon,” Martin wrote on his blog.
