‘Hijack’ Renewed for Season 2 at Apple TV+
Idris Elba is set to return as negotiator Sam Nelson in 'Hijack' Season 2 for Apple TV+.
Apple TV+ has confirmed that Elba is set to return as negotiator Sam Nelson in a second season of the high-octane drama, which quickly became one of the streamer’s top shows when it dropped last year. Idris will also return to executive produce the show alongside creators George Kay and Jim Field Smith’s company Idiotlamp Productions. “Global audiences were on tenterhooks watching Idris’ riveting performance in ‘Hijack,’ and we’re thrilled to be working again with 60Forty and Idiotlamp on an equally compelling Season 2,” said Jay Hunt, Apple TV+’s creative director for Europe.
