I'm forever looking for ways to justify costly beauty treatments and purchases, and girl math does just that for me, neatly packaged up in a mathematical equation that, unlike the mind-numbing calculations I could never wrap my head around in middle school classes, makes perfect, logical sense. The essence of girl math is to justify spending money on something a little bit extravagant by reducing it to a cost per wear/use, or off-setting it against something else to make it, yes, basically *free*.
