‘Hello, Love, Again’: Star Cinema & GMA Pictures Set Sequel To Filipino Box Office Hit ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’
Star Cinema and GMA Pictures in the Philippines are teaming up to produce 'Hello, Love, Again', the sequel to blockbuster hit 'Hello, Love, Goodbye'.
Mild spoiler: Hello, Love, Again will be set five years on from when Joy (Kathryn Bernardo) said goodbye to Ethan (Alden Richards) and Hong Kong to pursue her dreams in Canada. After exiting the broadcast business in 2020, ABS-CBN has collaborated with former network rival GMA on several occasions, as part of the company’s strategic pivot towards content production. Star Cinema collaborated with APT Entertainment and Agosto Dos Pictures to produce the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, Rewind, which collected nearly $17M at the global box office.
