‘Heathers the Musical’ Returning to New York After U.K. Run (EXCLUSIVE)
'Heathers the Musical' will return to New York's New World Stages following a successful run in London and throughout the U.K.
The show will play a limited engagement through Sept. 28 at New World Stages, producers Bill Kenwright LTD., Paul Taylor-Mills and Jerry Goehring announced on Monday. “Heathers the Musical” originally opened in Los Angeles for a sold-out run in 2013 before transferring Off-Broadway to New World Stages in 2014. Like the movie that inspired it, the show is a dark comedy about a high schooler named Veronica Sawyer who is unexpectedly taken under the wings of The Heathers — three beautiful, cruel and popular classmates.
