‘Heat bomb’ on track to hit Britain with sizzling 40 degrees arriving down south
A blast of hot weather can't be ruled out for sun worshipping Brits later this month after sizzling temperatures of 40 degrees are predicted for southern European destinations
Recently, temperatures have hovered in the comfortable high teens to low twenties Celsius, but weather maps hint at a potential rise as we head towards the end of July, thanks to a European 'heat bomb.' Unfortunately, the Met Office's latest long range weather forecast for July 16-25 isn't promising quite the same summer sizzle, suggesting only typical temperatures for this time of year, especially across the south. Hints of more consistent sunny spells could emerge post mid-July, with the south of Britain potentially basking in better weather, as per Met Office insights.
