No cast has been set for the CNN series; Private Eye editor Ian Hislop and comedian Paul Merton are the captains for the UK show, which has had rotating guest hosts for over 20 years. The series will be produced by Hat Trick Productions, which makes the UK version and was behind Showtime’s Episodes. “The series is the standard bearer of the genre and ripe for its American reincarnation as we revitalize Saturday nights on CNN.”
