‘Harry Potter’ HBO TV Series Lands Showrunner & Director

Harry Potter is finally assembling its crew! The upcoming HBO series recruits Succession and Game of Thrones alums to helm the upcoming project.

Ever since it was announced that Harry Potter would be rebooted as a TV series for HBO, fans have been keeping an eye on the news to see who would be chosen to helm the project. According to a new report from Entertainment Weekly, Succession producer Francesca Gardiner will serve as both showrunner and lead writer for the show. The report also states that Mark Mylod, who had previously worked on both Succession and Game of Thrones, will serve as executive producer for the series as well as the director for multiple episodes.
