‘Harry Potter’ Actor Miriam Margolyes Says Adult Fans ‘Should Be Over’ the Franchise by Now: ‘It’s for Children’

'Harry Potter' actor Miriam Margolyes says adult fans should be over the film series by now and that it's for children.

Margolyes played Professor Pomona Sprout, who taught herbology at Hogwarts and was head of the Hufflepuff House. Back in June of last year, Margolyes shared a similar sentiment with Vogue UK, saying that the “Harry Potter” franchise “doesn’t mean as much to me as it does” to the fans. Discovery evidently thinks otherwise, as the company is aiming to release a “Harry Potter” TV series on Max in 2026.
