‘Happy Gilmore 2’ Starring Adam Sandler Starts Production: “We’ve Only Just Begun”

Adam Sandler is celebrating the beginning of production of Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to the 1996 comedy.

Sandler and Netflix teased a photo from the sequel’s wardrobe showcasing the Boston Bruins ice hockey team jersey the actor wore in the film. The original film also starred Christopher McDonald, Julie Bowen, Frances Bay, Carl Weathers, Allen Covert, Kevin Nealon, Peter Kelamis, Richard Kiel, Dennis Dugan, Joe Flaherty, and Jared Snellenberg. Happy Gilmore also included cameos by Lee Trevino, Verne Lundquist, Mark Lye, Ben Stiller, and Bob Barker.
