The SNL alum posted to Instagram the first teaser for Happy Gilmore 2, the looonnnng-awaited sequel to the wacky 1996 golf comedy. But there are a few hints and some visual nostalgia, including Gilmore’s signature Boston Bruins jersey and waffle stompers and him thrilling tee-side fans by riding his driver like a horsey. Happy Gilmore standouts Carl Weathers and Bob Barker — whose pugilistic role made us all wonder why isn’t there an Oscar for Best Cameo — both left us in the past 18 months.
