‘Handmaid’s Tale’ Sequel Series ‘The Testaments’ Casts Mattea Conforti
"The Handmaid's Tale" followup "The Testaments" has cast Mattea Conforti as a series regular.
The series, based on the Margaret Atwood novel of the same name, is set 15 years after the events of “The Handmaid’s Tale.” Conforti joins previously announced cast members Chase Infiniti, Lucy Halliday, Ann Dowd, and Rowan Blanchard. Conforti will star as Becka, described as “a girl from humble origins, who attends school with Gilead’s elite. Conforti previously appeared in the films “The Many Saints of Newark” as well as “Frozen II,” “The Viper Club,” and “3 Generations.” She has starred in shows such as “NOS4A2” at AMC and “Power” at Starz.
