‘Hacks’ Breakout Robby Hoffman To Co-Write & Star In ‘Unentitled’ Comedy Series In Works At HBO
HBO has put in development Unentitled, a comedy starring Robby Hoffman. It will be co-written by her and Karey Dornetto and EP-ed by Carolyn Strauss.
Unentitled fits into HBO’s strategy to bet on comedy writer-performers, with one such series, Danny McBride’s The Righteous Gemstones, coming to an end, and three new ones coming in the next year or so, Tim Robinson’s The Chair Company and untitled half-hours created by and starring Rachel Sennott and Sharon Horgan. Hoffman, who also hosts the podcast Too Far, is repped by UTA, Jordan Tilzer at El Centro Management and Schreck Rose. Dornetto, whose series credits also include P ortlandia, Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens and Little Demon, is repped by UTA, Artists First and Jackaway Tyerman.
