'Grey’s Anatomy' star Jesse Williams will play the lead in Prime Video’s high-end Italian original 'Costiera.'
The high-end show is an English-language action-drama with comedic elements directed by Emmy winner Adam Bernstein (“30 Rock,” “Fargo”), which is currently shooting on location. In “Costiera,” Williams is playing an Italian-American former Marine named Daniel De Luca, who is a problem solver in one of the most exclusive hotels in the world in Positano. Under an innovative deal structure, Fremantle is handling global sales on “Costiera” in all territories outside of Italy, France, Spain and Portugal, where Amazon is holding on to full exclusive rights.
