Grey's Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo reflected on her career ahead of her new Hulu miniseries Good American Family's launch, saying she has 'a lot to prove here.'
Perhaps it’s no coincidence that Ellen Pompeo — who stars as Meredith Grey — returned for more episodes during Season 21 last year than she had since scaling back her appearances in 2022 to work on other Hulu projects. “A healthy home life was more important than career,” Ellen — who is mom to Stella, 15, Sienna, 10, and Eli, 8 — said on the “Jemele Hill is Unbothered” podcast. “To have a happy home life was really something I needed to complete, to close the hole in my heart, and so I made a decision to make money and not chase creative acting roles.”
