‘Good Night, And Good Luck’ & ‘Othello’ Go Out On High Notes; ‘Call Me Izzy’ With Jean Smart Takes $416,759 – Broadway Box Office

Deadline's weekly Broadway box office report for June 8, 2025.

All three of those shows were among the top 5 earners for the week building up to the Tonys: Good Night, $4,331,226; Othello, $3,807,875; Wicked, $2,413,805; Glengarry Glen Ross,$2,358,099; and The Lion King,$2,002,468. The Musical, which saw only 85% of its seats filled last week; Dead Outlaw, 80%; Floyd Collins, 77%; Real Women Have Curves, 72%; Smash, 66%; and The Last Five Years, 69%, but that one already has a June 22 closing. Gypsy filled only 69% of its seats last week, and with the musical revival taking no awards, the production will need to rely on Audra McDonald’s barnburner of a Tony night performance for some revitalized interest.
