‘Gomorrah’ Star Salvatore Esposito Joins Sports Car Biopic ‘Maserati: The Brothers’, Filming Begins Today
Filming is underway today in Rome on the movie starring Michele Morrone, Anthony Hopkins and Andy Garcia.
Michele Morrone, Anthony Hopkins, Andy Garcia, Jessica Alba and Tunisian actress Maya Talem — another new joiner — are also starring in the film about the brothers behind the iconic Italian car. Maserati was founded in 1914 in a garage in the central Italian city of Bologna by three brothers: Alfieri, Ettore and Ernesto. Esposito is best known for starring as crime kingpin Genny Savastano in the Italian smash hit series Gomorrah.
