'Glee' Stars Say 1 Episode Feels 'Morbid' After Cory Monteith's Death
'Glee' alums Jenna Ushkowitz and Kevin McHale said it was uncomfortable to watch Cory Monteith in an episode that referenced a drug overdose
The episode, which aired in January 2012, finds Finn learning his father died of a drug overdose. Glee alums came together to celebrate the late Naya Rivera and help finish a song she recorded more than a decade ago. McHale, who portrayed Artie from the 2009 pilot to the 2015 series finale, added that he once received “flack” for saying as much in another interview.
