‘Gladiator II’ Soundtrack by Composer Harry Gregson-Williams Gets Release Date
Decca Records US announced that the soundtrack to Ridley Scott's highly anticipated sequel, Gladiator II, is arriving on November 15, 2024.
The soundtrack also includes lead single “Strength and Honor,” out now, as well as the timeless hit song “Now We Are Free” composed by Hans Zimmer for the original Gladiator film almost 25 years ago. The upcoming sequel takes place years after witnessing the death of the revered hero Maximus, and follows Lucius (Paul Mescal) as he “is forced to enter the Colosseum after his home is conquered by the tyrannical Emperors who now lead Rome with an iron fist. The movie also stars Pedro Pascal, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, Lior Raz, Derek Jacobi, Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington.
