‘Gen V’ Not Recasting Chance Perdomo’s Role Following Actor’s Death; Sets New Production Start
Gen V producers have confirmed that Chance Perdomo's role in Season 2 won't be recast after the actor's death.
In a statement shared on social media, the producers of the Prime Video series said Perdomo’s Andre Anderson will not be played by another actor when the show returns. “As we continue to navigate the tragic loss of Chance Perdomo, everyone at Gen V is determined to find the best way to pay respect to his memory,” read the statement from producers shared on Instagram. In The Boys spinoff, he starred alongside Jaz Sinclair, Lizze Broadway, Maddie Phillips, London Thor, Asa Germann and Shelley Conn.
