The film follows a young Furiosa as she is ripped from her refuge in the Green Place of Many Mothers and, for the first time, forced to face the insanity of the desolate world beyond. “Fury Road”, the latest “Mad Max” entry staring Tom Hardy, Theron and Nicholas Hoult, received both commercial and critical acclaim. It would go on to clock in $380 million at the box office and 10 nominations at the Academy Awards, including best director, picture, cinematography and visual effects.
