'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga' has set its streaming premiere date at Max, following its release in theaters in May at a gross of over $172 million.
Directed by Miller, who wrote the script with Nico Lathouris, the new film delves into the character’s early life, revealing how she was taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers and thrust into the brutal world of the Warlord Dementus and Immortan Joe. As Furiosa struggles to survive in this harsh environment, she must navigate allegiances and rivalries that shape her into the formidable leader seen in Fury Road. Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke are among the other stars of the pic, produced by Miller and Doug Mitchell, which launched out of this year’s Cannes Film Festival.
