‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga’ Officially Sets Cannes Film Festival World Premiere

After much speculation, Cannes Film Festival has officially revealed that "Furiosa" will premiere on the Croisette in 2024.

Following its Cannes debut, “Fury Road” became a critical and commercial hit and has been widely regarded as one of the greatest action films in history. Set more than a decade before the events of the post-apocalyptic “Fury Road,” the story follows a young Furiosa as she is abducted from her home and endures many trials and tribulations to get back to the Green Place of Many Mothers. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to return to the Festival de Cannes – along with Anya, Chris and Tom – to share ‘Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.’ There is no better place than La Croisette to experience this film with audiences on the world stage.”
