‘Friends’ Game Show Taps Whitney Cummings as Host

Whitney Cummings will host 'Fast Friends,' a 'Friends'-themed competition series ordered by Max.

“From racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment to darting across Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad and grabbing a coffee at Central Perk, fans will relive their favorite moments while being put to the test,” reads part of the logline from Max. Cummings is a comedian, actor, writer, producer, director, entrepreneur, and host of the podcast “Good for You.” She created and starred in the NBC sitcom “Whitney” and is the co-creator and co-writer of the Emmy-nominated series “2 Broke Girls.” In 2017, she published her memoir “I’m Fine… And Other Lies,” and she made her directorial debut with the feature adaptation of Louann Brizendine’s bestseller “The Female Brain.” Starring Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, “Friends” first premiered on NBC in 1994 and quickly became one of the biggest television shows of all time.
