‘Friday Night Lights’ Reboot Is in the Works: What We Know About the Football Series So Far

A reboot of the series Friday Night Lights is officially in the works, according to multiple outlets. Here's everything we know about the show's revival so far.

While the show is only in its beginning phase, Variety reported that several of the original series’ main cast members, including Kyle Chandler and Jesse Plemons, are not expected to return. Frederick M. Brown/Getty Images Taylor Kitsch, who portrayed Tim Riggins, told Variety in July 2022 that he did not want to be a part of a Friday Night Lights reboot. Michael B. Jordan also shot to fame after portraying Vince Howard on Friday Night Lights, ultimately starring in Fantastic Four, Creed and Black Panther.
