'Frasier' Has Been Renewed For Season 2 At Paramount+
The series follows Frasier Crane (Grammer)—a character that originated in NBC’s Cheers — in the next chapter of his life after he returns to Boston to face new challenges, forge new relationships, and – with hope – finally fulfill an old dream or two. Although Cheers co-creator James Burrows has confirmed the legendary bar from the mothership series is retired for good, Grammer has ideas on how to bring back an additional two prior castmates: Ted Danson as Sam Malone and Shelley Long as Diane Chambers. Frasier for Paramount+ hails from writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who executive produce with Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon.
