“ Fourth Wing ” publisher Liz Pelletier and former Crooked Highway president Sherryl Clark have launched Premeditated Productions and set a three-year first-look TV and film deal with Amazon MGM Studios. Best known for Rebecca Yarros’ mega hit romantasy “Fourth Wing” and its sequel “Iron Flame,” published by Entangled’s imprint Red Tower Books and currently in the works as a TV series at Amazon, the U.S.-based indie publisher’s other notable titles include Hannah Nicole Maehrer’s “Assistant to the Villain” (set up at Legendary), “Five Broken Blades” by Mai Corland, “Heavenbreaker” by Sara Wolf, “The Wren in the Holly Library” by K.A. “This first-look deal with Liz Pelletier and Sherryl Clark’s newly formed company, Premeditated Productions, is an exciting opportunity to solidify our relationship with Entangled Publishing, who brought us the immensely popular novel ‘Fourth Wing,’” Amazon MGM Studios head of wholly owned U.S. SVOD TV development and series.
