‘For All Mankind’ Renewed for Season 5, Soviet Space Program Spinoff in the Works at Apple TV+
"For All Mankind" has been renewed for Season 5 at Apple TV+. In addition, the streamer has ordered a spinoff focusing on the Soviet space program.
The spinoff is currently titled “Star City” and hails from “For All Mankind” creators Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi. “The more we learned about this secret city in the forests outside Moscow where the Soviet cosmonauts and engineers worked and lived, the more we wanted to tell this story of the other side of the space race. David Weddle, Bradley Thompson, Seth Edelstein, and Kira Snyder are also executive producers on “For All Mankind,” with Wolpert and Nedivi serving as showrunners.
