‘Fire Island’ Director Andrew Ahn Teases Potential Sequel Is “In The Ether”
Another ferry to 'Fire Island' could be on the horizon for director Andrew Ahn and the cast of the 2022 gay romantic comedy.
Director Andrew Ahn recently revealed there’s “always been conversation about doing a sequel” to his 2022 gay romantic-comedy, which is set at the titular LGBTQ getaway and is loosely inspired by Jane Austen ‘s Pride & Prejudice. Fire Island also stars Margaret Cho, Zane Phillips, Matt Rogers, Tomas Matos, Torian Miller and Nick Adams. The modern update of the romantic-comedy also stars Lily Gladstone, Kelly Marie Tran, Han Gi-chan, Joan Chen and Youn Yuh-jung.
