‘Fauda’ Actor Idan Amedi Seriously Injured During IDF Operation In Gaza – Reports

Idan Amedi, who’s played Sagi on Fauda since 2017, was wounded by shrapnel while taking part in an operation to destroy Hamas tunnels. Fauda, which means “chaos” in Arabic, follows Doron, a commander in Israel’s Mista’arvim counter-intelligence unit, and regularly touches on the Israel-Gaza conflict. Lead actor Lior Raz – a former Israeli special forces unit soldier who also produces the show – and Fauda co-creator Avi Issacharov have also returned to the military after the October 7 attacks.
