‘Fallout’, ‘Nobody Wants This’, ‘American Nightmare’ Are Top New Originals In Nielsen 2024 Streaming Rankings; ‘Bluey’, ‘Bridgerton’, ‘Moana’ Most-Watched Overall
"Fallout" and "Nobody Wants This" ended 2024 as the top new original drama and comedy in streaming, respectively, Nielsen said Monday in a recap of the year.
Nielsen said preschool mainstay Bluey, Netflix drama Bridgerton and Disney animated feature Moana were the year’s top overall streaming titles. Among streaming original series, Netflix’s Bridgerton led the field with 21.42 billion viewing minutes, helped by the arrival of eight new episodes last spring. Universal’s smash went to Peacock in the pay-1 window before later migrating to Netflix, under a distribution strategy put in place by NBCUniversal in recent years.
