‘Extraordinary,’ ‘Shardlake’ Will Not Be Renewed for Further Seasons on Disney+ (EXCLUSIVE)
Disney+ U.K. originals 'Extraordinary' and 'Shardlake' will not be returning for further seasons.
“Shardlake,” a four-part historical mystery series set in Tudor times starred Arthur Hughes, Sean Bean and Anthony Boyle, launched its first season last summer. Sansom’s beloved novel for the screen, the entire cast – led by the outstanding Arthur Hughes – and crew, and our production partners The Forge and Runaway Fridge. Other projects in the works include “A Thousand Blows,” which launches next month, and documentaries about cricketer Freddie Flintoff, tragic “Love Island” host Caroline Flack and the shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes.
