‘Everything Everywhere All at Once’ Directors the Daniels Set Next Film for 2026

Oscar-winning directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert will debut their cinematic follow-up to "Everything Everywhere All at Once" in 2026.

Universal Pictures, which recently signed an exclusive first-look deal with the filmmakers, added to its release calendar an “Untitled Event Film Directed by Daniels” on June 12, 2026. The movie stars Michelle Yeoh as a struggling laundromat owner who, while being audited by the IRS, discovers she has to connect with parallel universe versions of herself to prevent cataclysmic destruction. As they forged their pact with Universal, the studio’s chief Donna Langley praised the duo as creators who have “evolved their craft with a distinct vision and singular voice that is unmistakable.”
