‘English Teacher’ Renewed for Season 2 at FX Despite Sexual Assault Allegation Against Brian Jordan Alvarez
The FX series "English Teacher" has been renewed for Season 2, Variety has learned.
Ebeling first made his allegations public with an Instagram story post in August before expanding on the issue in an article published by New York Magazine in December. In the report, Ebeling also alleges that “English Teacher” writer and star Koenig played a role in upholding his harmful dynamic with Alvarez. Additional executive producers include Paul Simms, Jonathan Krisel, Dave King, Kathryn Dean, Jake Bender and Zach Dunn.
