Fan favorite Alfie will have a larger presence in the upcoming fifth season as the actor who portrays him, Lucien Laviscount, has made a deal to rejoin the cast as a series regular, Deadline has learned. Alfie, a sarcastic and charmingly cynical British transplant to Paris, was introduced in Season 2 of the hit Netflix romantic comedy series as a recurring character. Laviscount most recently co-headlined the British romantic comedy movie This Time Next Year, based on the bestselling book by Sophie Cousens, which Roku Channel will stream for free ahead of Valentine’s Day.
