Another thing that moved me is this beautiful book called Final Gifts[by hospice nurses Maggie Callanan and Patricia Kelley], that features all these case studies. Liz and I, alongside all our writers in the room, were thrilled to bring this story to life on screen and share it with the world, sparking conversations and allowing people to grieve. We wrote some pretty wild things in the script, a lot of it based on the real person who did it, but we did end up leaving out some of the craziest stuff – we were so sad we didn’t even get to show.
