‘Drunk On Love’: New Series From Malcolm D. Lee’s Blackmaled Productions In Development With Universal Television; Attica And Tembi Locke To Pen Script
Malcolm D. Lee’s Blackmaled Productions, announced today a new drama series in development with Peacock titled, Drunk on Love.
Drunk on Love is based on the New York Times bestselling novel by Jasmine Guillory,of the same name and follows Margot Noble, whose life is turned upside-down when she inherits a struggling vineyard in Napa Valley along with her estranged brother, Elliot. Yanked back to the small town she thought she’d escaped from, Margot meets Luke Williams, whose life has also recently been upended by his mysterious departure from the tech company he founded. Malcolm D. Lee and Blackmaled Productions are represented by IAG, Del, Shaw, Moonves, Tanaka, Finkelstein, Lezcano, Bobb & Dang, and Bazan Entertainment.
