‘Doctor Who’ Star Millie Gibson to Be Replaced by Varada Sethu After One Season
Millie Gibson, who stars opposite Ncuti Gatwa in the upcoming 14th season of 'Doctor Who,' is set to be replaced by Varada Sethu.
Gibson, who until now was best known for playing Kelly Neelan on British soap “Coronation Street,” made her debut on the long-running sci-fi show in December’s Christmas special. Showrunner Russell T Davies, who rebooted the cult series back in 2005, has returned to write and executive produce the new seasons, which are co-produced by Bad Wolf. Season 14 guest stars include Yasmin Finney (“Heartstopper”), singer Bonnie Langford, “Glee’s” Jonathan Groff and Indira Varma (“Obsession”), among others.
