The U.K. and Ireland box office hit $132.5 million in July, marking the strongest monthly performance since December 2023.

Looking ahead, August brings a mix of family fare (“Harold and the Purple Crayon”), action (“Borderlands”), drama (“It Ends With Us”), thriller (“Trap”) and horror (“Alien: Romulus”). The box office is expected to gain significant momentum in Q4 with highly anticipated releases including “Joker: Folie A Deux,” “Venom: The Last Dance,” “Paddington in Peru,” “Gladiator II,” “Wicked” and “Mufasa: The Lion King.”
