Qureshi, fresh off her Filmfare Award win for SonyLIV’s “Maharani 3,” steps into the role of the show’s most formidable antagonist yet, going head-to-head with Shefali Shah’s beloved character DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, referred to by her team as “Madam Sir.” The critically acclaimed crime drama, produced by Golden Karavan and SK Global Entertainment, has earned praise for its authentic portrayal of real-life inspired criminal cases in Delhi, the Indian capital. The actor, who recently appeared in Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead,” adds “Delhi Crime” to an diverse slate of upcoming projects that includes “Jolly LLB 3,” “ Bayaan ” and “Gulabi.” She has also ventured into writing, making her literary debut with “Zeba: An Accidental Superhero,” a book that has resonated with young readers worldwide.
